Our baby started Preschool!!

On September 11, 2017, Edward had his first day of Preschool at Serene Montessori. He was super excited and loved getting to make new friends and see new things. He was so excited that he was ready to go almost an hour before he had to be leaving. He came home super jazzed and wouldn’t stop talking.

Now, the date for him starting preschool is a big one… It so happens that September 11, 2017 is exactly 5 years after Darrell and I traveled to Ft. Worth for the first IUI after having lost Pixel. We found out 2 weeks later that we were pregnant and 9 months after that, Edward was born. It is bittersweet that we now have a kid old enough to be in school, but I still know next year is going to be even harder. He is only in preschool for 2.5 hours a day, 4 days a week. Next year he will be in school 5 days a week for over 6 hours a day. Baby steps though right?

June: Edward got to go to his first movie theater experience this month. Daddy took him to go see Cars 3 when it came out. He loved the movie and was super excited for the movie.

Edward decided for his birthday that he wanted Rainbow theme. Super easy and we were able to pull it off. He loved all the colors and his fun rainbow layered cake. We weren’t sure if the weather would cooperate and be warm enough for us to be outside. We lucked out and it was warm enough to be outside. Not warm enough for a pool, but we were able to play outside. We got the bubbles out and the water table. They were both big hits with the kids.
